Point at others is an old-school hardcore band from
The Netherlands which was formed in the summer of
2005. All of the members played in other bands
before but they parted ways with those bands so
project Point At Others became the band Point At
Others. So after they recorded their first demo in
2005 a year later they released this self-titled
mini-CD.
Now for the music, there are six songs on this
record and it took them nine minutes and eighteen
seconds to play them. So I guess you know what to
expect… fast up tempo parts, mixed with the usual
but oh so necessary breaks and – Like it fits a old
school hardcore band – a lot of melody in their
songs. The singing line sounds rather chaotic and
raw and that is a good thing for such a band because
I think it promotes the intensity and emotions in
their music.
While listening to the album you can just imagine
what you can expect from a live show. No fancy shit,
just straight on hardcore with a positive attitude,
loads of stage dives and two-steps! I also read in
their bio that they are planning to bring out a full
length somewhere in September 2007 so keep your eyes
open for this band! Because once you listened to the
album you have no other choice but just to like this
band…
