Review Hardcoremusic.be (English)

Point At Others came up with a for me very appreciated debut 7"/CD. They formed out in the summer of 2005 while on the meanwhile Stijn and Arjan were playing with The Fart Farmers and Bram was a part of Ataglance. While most of the members were active in other bands, they wanted to do their own project with Point At Others, in 2005 a first demo followed which was good received as a direct result of this The Fart Farmers broke up and Bram quit doing his job in Ataglance and went for the vocals in Point At Others. Three labels hooked up for the debutrelease: Crashlanding Records, The Shield Records and DP (or not DP) Records. This record is out on 7inch vinyl and CDEP.

Musicwise this record is realy good and outstanding, remarkable this is their first actual recording work. You can expect a lot of heavyness and energy as bands as Another Breath, Go It Alone, mixed up with Paint It Black and AN. Great melodic old school hardcore with cool guitar riffing and breaks. This EP comes with 6 fast melodic tracks, amazing artwork and if you never can get enough their full length is in process and I will definatly check that record out. I hear a lot of potential and its nice to hear a Euro band actualy tuned to a nowedays USA melodic sound. If you wouldn't know these guys are from the Netherlands you would located them somewhere in the USA. This record was a great listen and discovery, I bet you can expect furious live shows and a new full length soon!
