Members of BBK, The Fart Farmers and Ataglance got
together and started Point At Others. I know all
previous bands, so I was curious what this band
would sound like. And I was surprised by the fresh
mix of old school hardcore and some great rock n
roll licks, blending into this interesting record.
Bands like Give Up The Ghost, Paint It Black and Kid
Dynamite come to mind to describe the music. It all
sounds pretty energetic, I really like the guitar
parts and the singer’s voice fits this band much
better than his old band Ataglance. I can’t say much
about the lyrics, because the promo-artwork didn’t
supply them. The artwork I have looks okay, and
especially the black on black print of the cd looks
really good. A promising debut record is in the
pocket, now for the next step. If you are into the
bands I mentioned earlier, this band can really
surprise you. This is a split release between The
Shield, Crash Landing and DP-or-not DP records.
